Trend update: The Denim Jacket

Hello lovelies, yesterday we took pictures at Knez Mihailova street which is the most famous street in Belgrade. As always, it was crowded and people were buzzing through it so we decided to take pictures in front of Coco Mademoiselle and Acqua di Gioia adverts to avoid that crowd. But still, people just walked and didn't care about us doing something there and one woman actually photo bombed Lena's picture by sitting behind her while I photographed. We were so pissed at that moment but pics ended up great in the end.

Now let's focus on our outfits. Even though they are completely different they have one thing in common: Denim jacket.  Denim jacket is always a complete must-have because it can be combined with almost everything. Combined with maxi dress, jumpsuit, printed pants or even tights and baggy shirt it looks trendy and gives outfit a dose of style. As much as we wear it in everyday outfits, it can be worn on a night out mixed with a bit more elegant dress and wedges or slingbacks. It can be used in both day and night outfits, you can find it in almost any shop for reasonable price and in different designs.
 Baggy, short, with studs, glitter or fur, anyone can find their perfect denim jacket! Or you can just steal it from your boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend and add some details yourself, the choice is yours.

Pozdrav svima! Juče smo prošetale Knez Mihailovom, najpoznatijom ulicom u Beogradu. Bila je prepuna ljudi, kao i obično, tako da smo pokušale da se sklonimo u stranu ispred Chanel i Armani reklame (podrazumevana lepa, fashionable pozadina). Međutim, u svom tom haosu niko zapravo nije ni primetio da se slikamo i svi su redovno upadali u kadar - jedna žena je čak i sela iza Lene potpuno opušteno dok sam je slikala. Taj momenat nas je iznervirao do kraja, ali kada smo pogledale slike shvatile smo da nije sve tako crno.
Da se vratimo na autfit. Na prvi pogled su kombinacije potpuno različite - Beki prati moderni, geometrijski stil noseći pravougaonu roze torbu i crno - bele šalvare dok Lenina kombinacija više vuče na neki opušteniji, divlji fazon sa tamnom šminkom i kovrdžavom kosom. Međutim, imaju jednu zajedničku stvar - teksas jaknu. To je fokus današnjeg posta. Teksas jakna je neophodan komad u ormaru, kog god oblika, veličine, sa bilo kojim detaljima, jer se stvarno mogu nositi uz bilo šta. Bilo da je ukombinovana uz haljinu, helanke i vrećastu majicu, pantalone sa printom, kombinezonom, daje kombinaciji neki pomalo retro ali ipak moderan izgled. Pored svakodnevnih kombinacija može se nositi i kad su u pitanju izlasci i žurke uz neku elegantniju haljinicu i sandale sa platformom.
Teksas jaknice u svakom mogućem obliku - velike, male, uske, vrećaste, kratke, sa krznom, nitnama, vezom, printom, stvarno bilo čime - mogu se naći u svakoj prodavnici po razumnoj ceni, što ih čini još isplativijim. Mada ih uvek možete ukrati od momka/devojke/najboljeg prijatelja ili prijateljice i dodati vaš lični pečat.

The great comeback

Okay, so it's been a long, long time since we updated our blog the last time and that's so not good. But, there is a valid excuse: we made a complete makeover of the blog design! What do you think about it? We didn't want to post anything until we change the design and changing design took too much time (more than a month apparently) so we didn't post for like ages.

I was thinking about this comeback post and concluded that it should be with photos from Instagram mainly because many things changed in our lives so it would be the perfect way for you to catch up with all of them. Of course, this post wont be that interesting for those who follow us on Instagram but don't worry, we have a vast of other posts prepared that are just waiting to be published. 

So, we hope you will enjoy and stay tuned for more.

 Pošto je prošlo jako dugo otkad smo se poslednji put videli, odlučile smo da vam se izvinimo tako što smo malo izmenile izgled bloga. Kako vam se čini? Još odavno smo htele da promenimo dizajn, a budući da nam je više od mesec dana trebalo da to ostvarimo, nismo dugo postavljale jer smo želele da prvo uradimo to, pa sve ostalo što sledi.
  Razmišljale smo o tome kakav bi trebalo da nam bude ovaj takozvani ,,comeback" post i zaključile smo da bi idealno bilo da postavimo slike sa Instagrama, jer nam se puno toga dešava trenutno i to je dobar način da budete u toku. Ovo verovatno neće biti interesantno onima koji nas već prate na Instagramu ali za vas imamo još postova u rezervi koji samo čekaju da ih podelimo sa vama.

La vie est l'art

Hey everyone! 

Here we are (finally) with a new post! Today, we have some art photography to show you. Lena and I organised a photo session last weekend, she was the model and I photographed her. 

Black and white photography is my passion, I'm addicted to that classy, old-fashioned look and old Hollywood is my endless source of inspiration so pics like those today are my faves.

I enjoy in black and white photos because they can express the emotion better than colored ones and observer can feel them as well if photograph is good.

Zdravo svima!

Napokon, evo novog posta! Za danas smo spremile set umetničnih fotografija koje su nastale prošlog vikenda kada smo Lena i ja organizovale jedan photo session. Crno-bela fotografija je moja strast i obožavam osećaj koji mi stvara u stomaku kad vidim fotografiju koja mi se stvarno sviđa. Old Hollywood i filmovi kao što su Doručak kod Tifanija i Neki to vole vruće za mene predstavljaju nepresušni izvor ideja i inspiracije i baš zato su mi fotke koje ovde možete videti prirasle za srce. Uživam u crno-belim slikama zato što mogu da prenesu emociju koju je fotograf hteo da stvori toliko dobro da je i sam posmatrač oseti.

Dakle, nadam se da ćete uživati u ovom postu i javljamo vam se uskoro!
